Lotadilo iPhone Pro Max Case: Durable Enough to Buy Twice
I dropped my phone more than I want to admit and this Lotadilo blue flower case kept it in great shape. Here's why I repurchased it.
The Lotadilo iPhone Pro Max case is worth buying if you drop your phone often and want something pretty that still protects it. The raised lip around the screen and the 2mm camera ledge are the reason I bought this exact case twice. Buy it.

Quick Verdict
I bought this exact case twice, and the second time I bought a second color too. I drop my phone more than I’d like to admit and it has kept my phone in great shape. It’s durable and it’s pretty at the same time, which is not a combo I find often.
Buy if you:
- drop your phone regularly and still want a floral case, not a bulky black brick
- prop your phone up while cooking or working at a desk
- own a MagSafe tripod and want to clip the phone straight onto it
- want the option to swap the ring for your own PopSocket
Skip if you:
- charge wirelessly every night, because the ring has to come off first
- hate anything sticking out of the back of your phone in a pocket
- want a clear case that shows off your phone’s color

Why I Bought the Same Case Again

When I upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I spent maybe four minutes picking a case, because I already knew which one I wanted. I’d had the Lotadilo blue flower case on my 15 Pro Max for the better part of a year, dropped it more times than I should admit, and the phone came out fine every single time. Buying it again wasn’t nostalgia. It was the only logical move.
I’m one of those people that drops my phone too often. More than I’d like to admit. And this case has kept my phone in great shape through all of it. That’s not a small thing when you’ve watched a screen crack before.
It’s got a nice durable ledge, or a lip I guess you’d say, all the way around the edges. 1.5mm of it. When the phone goes face down on the floor, that lip is what’s touching, not the glass. On the back you’ve got another raised lip at 2mm around the camera lenses. The buttons are covered too, which is super helpful and something a lot of cheap cases skip.
The Ring Comes Off, and Mine Did
I took the ring off and stuck my old PopSocket on instead. The magnetic ring holder is a magnet mount, so whatever you prefer can live there. The one I pulled off my first case is visibly worn at this point, and I reattached it anyway because I like holding my phone that way.
If you like the ring, keep it. It flips out and props the phone up in portrait or landscape, and I do that a lot when I’m cooking in the kitchen and watching something, or sitting at my desk. It’s also how I attach the phone to my MagSafe tripod, which is a use I didn’t expect to lean on as much as I do.
The catch is wireless charging. With the ring on the back, it’s off the table. You have to pull the ring off to charge on a pad or in the car. Pulling it off is easy, putting it back is easy, but if you’re a nightly wireless charger you’ll be doing that dance every single day.
The Part That Annoys Me
Anything on the back of a phone makes a pocket harder. Ring, PopSocket, doesn’t matter. I chose that trade on purpose because I’d rather grip my phone securely than slide it flat into a jeans pocket, but if that bugs you, it will keep bugging you. The good news is you can just take it off and the case is a flat case again.
The other thing worth knowing before you order: this is a TPU case with a printed design, not a clear one. The flowers are the whole point. If you bought a specific phone color to show it off, this covers it completely.
Against the Wall of iPhone Pro Max Cases
Most floral cases I’ve tried are thin TPU with zero raised lip, pretty until the first face-down drop. This one has a 1.5mm screen ledge and a 2mm camera ledge, which is the same spec I’d expect from a case that costs twice as much and looks like a black rectangle. The flowers aren’t a consolation prize for giving up protection. They’re just on the outside of a case that actually does its job.
I wanted something different sometimes, so I also picked up the cherry blossom print. Same ring on the back, same lip, same everything. Two cases, one design language, and I rotate them. If you want to see what colors are live right now, the listing has the current selection. It sits around #2,891 in Cell Phones & Accessories, so it’s not some no-name nobody is buying, but it’s also not the case everyone at your office already has.
Who This Is Actually For
Women who drop their phones and are tired of choosing between cute and protective. That’s the buyer. If you prop your phone on the counter while something cooks, if you shoot content on a MagSafe tripod, if you’ve got a favorite PopSocket you refuse to give up, this case handles all three.
The person who shouldn’t buy it is the one who drops their phone on a charging pad at bedtime without thinking about it. You’d be removing the ring nightly, and that friction adds up fast.

Pricing has been steady for the last three months and I’ve bought it twice at the same price, so there’s no discount cycle worth waiting on. If you drop your phone, want something that doesn’t look like safety gear, and can live without nightly wireless charging, just order it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put the ring back on after removing it?
Yes, it’s magnetic, so it lifts off and snaps back on with no tools. That’s also how I swapped mine for a PopSocket. Nothing is glued down permanently.
Will it work in a car MagSafe mount?
Yes, with the ring removed. The case supports MagSafe accessories including car stands once the ring holder is off the back. With the ring on, the magnet connection is occupied.
Does the print rub off over time?
My first one went through a full phone cycle and still looked good. The PopSocket I moved over is far more worn than the case ever was. I’ll keep an eye on the blue one and report back if that changes.
Are the ports and buttons easy to reach?
Yes, the cutouts line up and the volume and power buttons have raised covers over them. You press through the case rather than into a bare button. They still click normally.
